How to Manage Franchise Digital Advertising Across Multiple Locations
Create, localize, fund, launch, optimize and measure Meta, Google Search and Google Performance Max advertising across an entire franchise network while giving head office and franchisees the level of control that fits the organization.
Franchise digital advertising has to operate at two levels at the same time. Head office needs a coordinated advertising strategy, consistent brand standards, professional campaign structures and network-wide visibility. Individual franchise locations need advertising that reflects their own geography, offers, services, budgets, local business information and customer demand.
Franify is a franchise digital advertising platform built around that national-to-local operating model. Head office can create and manage advertising centrally across Meta, Google Search and Google Performance Max, then deploy localized executions for individual franchise markets. Franchisees can also participate through guided workflows when the organization wants local owners to activate, customize or create campaigns.
The platform connects campaign creation, programmatic localization, franchisee permissions, local funding, cross-platform budget allocation, Dynamic Landing Pages, lead capture and national-to-local reporting. This allows a franchise organization to manage paid media as one connected system while still producing advertising for the individual businesses and markets where customers actually convert.
Key takeaways
Manage Meta, Google Search and Performance Max in one franchise advertising platform
Franify enables franchise organizations to manage advertising across Meta, Google Search and Google Performance Max within one franchise marketing platform. Head office and local users can work within the same environment while maintaining the appropriate controls, workflows and reporting for each level of the organization.
Support different levels of head office and franchisee participation
Franify supports four franchise advertising models: Head Office Managed, Managed Campaign, Start From Template and Create Your Own Campaign. These models can operate concurrently, allowing the appropriate level of franchisee participation to vary by campaign, location, Group or user.
Localize digital advertising across individual franchise markets
Franify can programmatically localize centrally created advertising for individual franchise locations using structured location data, Dynamic Text, geographic targeting, local creative, offers and campaign destinations. This allows one common advertising strategy to support many locally relevant executions across the franchise network.
Manage multiple campaigns and platforms as one Promotion
Franify Promotions bring related advertising campaigns together around one marketing initiative. A Promotion can contain multiple Meta, Google Search and Google Performance Max campaigns while providing common scheduling, flexible budgeting and consolidated reporting.
Simplify local advertising funding and activation
Franchisees can select, fund and activate supported advertising directly through Franify without having to create and administer their own Meta or Google advertising accounts simply to participate. This allows local owners to focus on decisions such as what to promote, which locations should participate, when advertising should run and how much to invest.
Use AI to assist campaign creation and cross-platform budgeting
Franify's AI capabilities can support advertising content creation and campaign development while also helping allocate an overall Promotion budget across participating campaigns. AI-assisted budgeting can evaluate campaign objectives and performance over time and make incremental adjustments to how spending is distributed.
Combine national and local advertising investment
Franify supports several franchise advertising funding models. Head office can fund localized advertising centrally, franchisees can fund their own local campaigns, and the Franify Incentive Program can combine head office and franchisee dollars within the same campaign to encourage participation, increase investment in market and help reduce advertising channel conflict.
Connect advertising with leads, customers and revenue
Franify can connect advertising activity with forms, phone calls, Meta Lead Ads, online conversions, CRM and POS data, offline conversions and attributed revenue. Where the appropriate data is available, measurement can extend from advertising performance through leads, customers and revenue to return on ad spend (ROAS) and provide important inputs for broader marketing ROI analysis.
How Franchise Digital Advertising Differs From Multi-Location Advertising
Franchise digital advertising uses many of the same advertising platforms and media-buying principles as conventional digital advertising, but the operating structure is significantly more complex.
A conventional advertiser may manage one company, one or several advertising accounts and a relatively small number of geographic markets. A franchise organization can have hundreds or thousands of local businesses operating under the same brand while serving different territories, customers and business priorities.
Each location may require its own geographic targeting, location information, advertising budget, offer, creative, destination and lead-routing process. At the same time, the franchisor may need to maintain common brand standards, campaign strategy, measurement and oversight across the network.
That creates an advertising architecture challenge as well as a media-buying challenge.
Franchise advertising vs. multi-location advertising
Corporate multi-location businesses face some of the same issues, but ownership and decision-making are usually more centralized. Locations typically belong to the same corporate organization, allowing marketing budgets, campaign participation and advertising decisions to remain under common control.
Franchise systems often operate differently. Individual franchisees may fund their own advertising, choose which initiatives make sense for their business, own multiple locations and require different levels of involvement in local marketing.
A franchise advertising platform therefore needs to connect centralized brand strategy with distributed local ownership and execution. It needs to accommodate national advertising, locally funded advertising and combinations of head-office and franchisee participation within the same system.
Franify is designed around this structure. The platform supports centralized advertising distribution, franchisee campaign activation, configurable templates, local campaign creation, multi-unit ownership, local funding, programmatic localization and national-to-local reporting.

How franchise digital advertising works in Franify
Franify connects the different layers of franchise advertising within one environment. Head office can determine campaign strategy and governance, while advertising can be executed centrally, collaboratively with franchisees or locally by franchise owners.
Regardless of who initiates the campaign, advertising can remain connected to the franchise location being marketed. Location data, geography, budgets, landing page experiences, leads and performance can therefore remain associated with the appropriate local business while still rolling up into broader franchise reporting.
Franchise Digital Advertising Workflow
Head office establishes advertising strategy, campaigns, templates and permissions
Campaigns are made available to participating locations or Groups
Head office and/or franchisees determine how each local market will participate
Franify configures and localizes advertising for the appropriate franchise locations
Advertising runs across Meta, Google Search and/or Google Performance Max
Customers interact with advertising and landing experiences associated with their local franchise business
Forms, phone calls and conversions remain connected to the appropriate location and advertising activity
Franchisees, multi-unit operators and head office measure performance at the appropriate level
Four ways franchise advertising can be managed in Franify
Franchise organizations differ substantially in how national and local advertising responsibilities are allocated. Even within the same network, the appropriate operating model may change according to the campaign, location or marketing sophistication of the franchisee.
Franify supports four advertising models: Head Office Managed, Managed Campaign, Start From Template and Create Your Own Campaign. These models can coexist within the same franchise system, giving head office flexibility to configure different advertising experiences around the organization’s actual business model.

Head Office Managed advertising
Head Office Managed advertising allows the franchisor or its marketing team to create, deploy, fund, optimize and measure advertising across individual franchise markets without requiring franchisees to manage the campaigns themselves.
Head office can create a Meta, Google Search or Performance Max campaign centrally and determine which franchise locations or Groups should participate. Franify can then create locally appropriate executions using the information and configuration associated with each location.
For example, head office could create one centrally managed Google Search campaign framework for a network of 300 locations. Each participating market can receive advertising with appropriate geography, local keywords, local messaging, destination information and other configured elements while the broader program continues to be managed nationally.
The same model can apply to Meta or Performance Max. Head office can maintain control of strategy, audience approach, creative, timing and investment while Franify manages the location-specific execution required across the network.
Head Office Managed advertising is particularly useful for nationally funded campaigns, major product launches, brand initiatives, regulated marketing or franchise systems that provide marketing centrally as part of their franchise support model.
Local execution does not require local administration. Franchisees can still receive leads and view performance associated with their locations even when head office manages the entire advertising process.
Why centralized franchise advertising matters
Centralized management gives the national marketing team the ability to apply professional advertising strategy consistently across the network while reducing the burden on franchisees.
At the same time, Franify allows centralized management to retain local relevance. Advertising can reflect the individual franchise market rather than treating the entire network as one generic national audience.
Managed Campaigns
Managed Campaigns give franchisees a simple way to participate in professionally prepared digital advertising. Head office creates the campaign in advance, including the strategy, advertising platform, targeting framework, creative, messaging and other required campaign settings. Franify can also localize the campaign so that the franchisee receives advertising already configured around their market.
When the franchise owner opens the Managed Campaign, they can review the advertising opportunity and decide whether it makes sense for their business. The franchisee can see the objective, creative, targeting information, participating platforms and other relevant details before activating it.
The local decisions can remain focused on the business:
Do I want to participate?
Which of my locations should participate?
When should the advertising run?
How much do I want to invest?
The technical campaign setup has already been completed.
This allows a local franchisee to quickly and easily activate sophisticated advertising across their locations (if they are a multi-unit owner) and across multiple advertising platforms without needing to understand every setting inside Meta Ads Manager or Google Ads.
Managed Campaign example
Imagine head office creates a seasonal customer-acquisition initiative that includes Meta, Google Search and Performance Max.
A single-location owner may choose to participate with a $1,000 local advertising investment. Another franchisee may invest $2,500. A multi-unit operator may activate the opportunity for three of their five locations.
The campaign strategy remains coordinated while participation, location selection and local investment reflect each operator’s business needs.
Managed Campaigns are therefore particularly useful for franchise systems that want to increase local advertising participation while maintaining professional campaign development and national oversight.

Start From Template
Start From Template enables local franchise owners to have more control of their campaigns. Head office builds the campaign framework and determines which parts of that campaign franchisees are allowed to modify. The more technical campaign elements can already be configured before the franchisee begins, including targeting, tracking, campaign structure, ad sets or ad groups, creative and other settings.
Local users can then focus on the elements where their market knowledge adds value.
Depending on the organization’s configuration, a franchisee might be able to adjust geographic targeting, choose imagery, modify advertising copy, select a destination URL, add local media or make other approved changes.
The permissions can be highly granular. Head office might allow local users to edit creative and messaging while keeping audience targeting fixed. Another campaign may permit geography changes but lock the campaign structure.
Why franchise advertising templates matter
Franchise systems frequently need both national expertise and local knowledge.
Templates allow head office to determine where local customization will improve the campaign while retaining control over the elements that need consistency, technical expertise or brand governance.
Different templates can also offer different levels of local control. A major national promotion may offer only a few choices, while an ongoing local lead-generation template could provide considerably more flexibility.

Create Your Own Campaign
Create Your Own Campaign gives franchisees, multi-unit operators and local marketing teams the ability to build their own digital advertising campaigns within Franify.
This workflow is designed for local users who have substantial marketing experience and would like more control than a nationally created Managed Campaign or Start From Template campaign provides. A franchisee might create advertising for a local event, excess capacity, a location-specific service, a competitive opportunity or an offer that is particularly relevant to their market.
Head office determines whether Create Your Own Campaign is available, allowing franchise organizations to provide greater advertising autonomy to franchisees with the experience and capabilities to manage their own local marketing.
Full campaign control through a simplified franchise advertising workflow
Create Your Own provides access to the major elements required to build a digital advertising campaign. Depending on the advertising platform and campaign type, franchisees can configure elements such as:
- Geography and local targeting
- Interest-based and demographic targeting
- Custom audiences
- Lookalike audiences
- Placements
- Budgets and schedules
- Creative and ad copy
- Calls to action
- Landing pages and lead-generation experiences
For supported platforms, including Meta and Google Performance Max, Franify provides these capabilities through a streamlined campaign-building experience designed specifically for franchise advertising.
Franchisees can create sophisticated local campaigns without having to navigate the full complexity of Meta Ads Manager or Google Ads. This gives experienced local marketers meaningful control while making campaign creation faster and easier to manage within the franchise system.
Why Create Your Own Matters for Franchise Organizations
Franchisees with digital marketing experience can create their own advertising directly through platforms such as Meta and Google. The challenge for franchise organizations is that independently created campaigns can become disconnected from the systems, resources and oversight used across the rest of the franchise network.
Create Your Own allows franchise owners to build their own local advertising while keeping that activity within the Franify ecosystem. They can use a simplified campaign-building workflow while accessing the tools and resources already available through the franchise organization, including:
- Approved photography and creative from the shared asset library
- AI-assisted content creation and campaign development
- Dynamic Landing Pages and lead-generation tools
- Franify Promotions, scheduling and budgeting capabilities
- AI-assisted budget allocation across participating campaigns
- Local, multi-unit and national advertising reporting
- Lead and conversion tracking
- CRM and other available business-system integrations
This gives experienced franchisees meaningful local advertising autonomy without requiring them to build and manage campaigns through disconnected advertising accounts and systems. A locally created campaign can use the same approved assets, marketing technology, budgeting infrastructure, lead-generation tools and measurement framework as advertising created or distributed by head office.
The reporting connection is particularly valuable for franchise organizations. Campaigns created locally through Franify can flow into the same reporting environment as other advertising, allowing the franchisee to measure their own results while giving multi-unit operators and head office visibility into advertising activity and performance across the network.
Create Your Own therefore allows franchise organizations to give capable local marketers greater freedom while keeping local advertising connected to the broader franchise marketing infrastructure. Franchisees gain flexibility and access to more sophisticated tools, while the organization retains the benefits of shared resources, integrated measurement and national visibility.

The four advertising models can operate concurrently
A franchise organization does not need to select one advertising model and use it universally.
The same company can use Head Office Managed advertising for nationally funded brand campaigns, Managed Campaigns for large seasonal promotions, Start From Template for ongoing local lead generation and Create Your Own Campaign for sophisticated multi-unit operators.
Different groups of franchisees can also choose to use different capabilities. A new franchisee may primarily use Managed Campaigns, while an experienced multi-unit owner with an internal marketing team prefers to use more advanced workflows.
This flexibility allows the advertising model to evolve around the needs of the campaign and the franchise organization rather than forcing every local operator into the same experience.

Create and manage franchise advertising from a mobile device
Franify’s local advertising experience is designed to be mobile-first, allowing franchise owners to create, activate and manage digital advertising from a smartphone or tablet. Franify can be accessed through a mobile browser or through its dedicated iOS and Android apps.
The mobile experience supports Franify’s different franchisee advertising workflows. Local users can activate Managed Campaigns, customize advertising using Start From Template, or build Create Your Own Campaigns, depending on the permissions and capabilities made available by head office.
This is particularly important for franchise marketing because many franchise owners spend their day operating their local business rather than working at a desk. A franchisee can respond to a local marketing opportunity, select participating locations, review available campaigns, customize permitted elements, establish a budget and schedule, and launch advertising directly from their mobile device.
The mobile experience is also connected to the broader Franify ecosystem. Franchisees can access approved creative from the shared asset library, use available AI-assisted content tools, manage Promotions and budgets, access landing-page and lead-generation capabilities, and review local advertising performance without moving between disconnected systems.
For multi-unit franchisees, the same mobile environment can provide access to multiple locations through a single account. This allows an owner to manage advertising activity and review performance across their portfolio while maintaining the appropriate location-level controls and reporting.
By bringing franchise advertising into a mobile-first environment, Franify makes sophisticated digital advertising more accessible to the people responsible for local marketing. Franchisees can participate in advertising without needing to regularly work inside the desktop interfaces of Meta Ads Manager or Google Ads, while head office retains the governance and visibility established for the franchise system.
The local franchise owner advertising workflow
Franchise owner advertising is a major part of the Franify architecture. Depending on the controls established by head office, a local owner can use Franify to choose advertising opportunities, select locations, customize campaign elements, establish budgets and schedules, fund advertising, create campaigns and measure results.
This allows the local experience to focus on business decisions rather than advertising-platform administration.
A franchisee can think in straightforward terms:
What do I want to promote?
Which of my locations should participate?
How much do I want to invest?
When should the advertising run?
What results did I generate?
Franify handles much of the platform complexity around those decisions.
Typical local franchise owner advertising workflow
Franchisee signs into Franify
Chooses an available campaign or creates a campaign where permitted
Selects the participating location or locations (for multi-location owners)
Reviews or customizes the elements available to them
Sets the advertising budget and schedule
Reviews and launches the campaign
Receives leads and customer responses
Measures results through local reporting
Multi-unit franchise advertising
Multi-unit franchise owners create a unique challenge for franchise advertising because one operator may be responsible for the marketing and advertising decisions of several local businesses. Franify is designed to let multi-unit operators manage those locations together while preserving the individual location structure required for targeting, localization, budgeting, lead management and reporting.
A multi-unit franchisee can access multiple locations through a single Franify account. Rather than signing into separate accounts or repeating the same advertising workflow for every business, the operator can select the locations they want to include when activating a campaign or Promotion.
For example, an owner with five locations could activate the same seasonal Promotion across all five businesses, choose only the three locations where the offer is relevant, or make different advertising decisions for individual markets. Each location can still receive the appropriate local advertising execution, including its own geography, location information, landing experience and other configured local elements.
Manage advertising across multiple franchise locations
Franify allows multi-unit operators to manage advertising at both the portfolio and individual location level.
Depending on the campaign and permissions established by head office, a multi-unit franchisee can:
- Select one, several or all of their locations for a Promotion
- Activate Managed Campaigns across multiple locations
- Use Start From Template or Create Your Own workflows where permitted
- Establish budgets and schedules for advertising initiatives
- Access approved creative and other shared franchise marketing resources
- Receive and manage advertising associated with individual local markets
- View combined advertising performance across their locations
- Drill into individual locations to understand market-level results
This can substantially simplify advertising for larger franchise operators. A franchise owner managing ten locations can make portfolio-level advertising decisions without losing the local execution and measurement required for each individual business.
Support different users within a multi-unit franchise organization
Multi-unit ownership can also involve several people. An owner may oversee the entire portfolio while general managers or local marketing employees are responsible for individual businesses.
Franify’s account and location architecture allows access to reflect those responsibilities. A multi-unit owner can have visibility across all their locations, while individual managers can be given access only to the locations and capabilities appropriate to their role.
This means the advertising structure can reflect the actual operating structure of the franchise business rather than requiring every user associated with a multi-unit organization to have the same access.
Measure advertising across the portfolio or by individual location
Multi-unit reporting follows the same principle.
An operator can evaluate combined advertising performance across the locations available through their account and then drill into individual businesses, campaigns and Promotions when more detail is required. This makes it possible to answer both portfolio-level and local questions, such as “How is my advertising performing across all of my locations?” and “Why is Riverdale generating leads at a lower cost than Elmwood?”
The individual locations remain distinct within Franify, so head office can also incorporate those businesses into national, regional, Group and location-level reporting without losing their relationship to the multi-unit owner.
Localize Digital Advertising Across Franchise Markets
Franchise advertising often starts with a common national strategy, but the advertising that reaches the customer needs to reflect the local business serving that market.
Franify allows head office to create common campaign frameworks and then programmatically configure those campaigns for individual franchise locations. Localization can include structured location data, Dynamic Text, geographic targeting, local Facebook and Instagram publishing identities, localized keywords, location-specific creative, local offers, destination URLs and dynamic landing-page experiences.
The exact localization approach varies by advertising platform, but the objective is consistent: one centrally developed advertising strategy can become many locally relevant campaign executions without requiring head office to manually rebuild the campaign for every franchise location.
This creates a scalable national-to-local advertising model in which head office can maintain common strategy and governance while individual markets receive advertising configured around their location, geography and customer context.
Localize Meta Advertising for Individual Franchise Markets
Franify can create Meta advertising centrally and execute it across individual franchise markets with locally relevant configuration. Localization can include location-specific messaging, geographic targeting, local Facebook or Instagram identities, local offers and local conversion destinations.
For example, one national Meta campaign framework could be distributed across hundreds of franchise locations. Each local execution can use the geography, business information, dynamic copy and destination URL associated with the appropriate location while continuing to follow the broader campaign strategy established by head office.
Dynamic Text can incorporate structured information such as:
- City
- Location name
- Neighborhood
- Franchisee or operator name
- Local offer
- Other configured location-specific variables
This allows the same underlying advertising concept to communicate more naturally with customers in different franchise markets.
Localization can continue beyond the advertisement itself. A Facebook or Instagram ad can direct the customer to a local lead form or Dynamic Landing Page that carries forward the appropriate franchise location, offer and contact information.
The result is a connected local advertising experience in which the publishing identity, geographic audience, advertising message and conversion destination can all correspond to the same franchise market.
Localize Google Search Advertising Around Local Intent
Google Search localization is particularly important for franchise organizations because search behavior frequently combines purchase intent with geographic intent.
Franify can maintain a common Google Search campaign strategy while localizing campaign elements for individual franchise markets. Supported localization can include geographic targeting, keywords, headlines, descriptions, destination URLs and other location-specific campaign elements.
For example, head office may create a common keyword structure such as:
best coffee in [city]
When that campaign is deployed across the franchise network, Franify can create locally relevant versions such as:
best coffee in Riverdale
best coffee in Springfield
best coffee in Elmwood
The same concept can apply to advertising copy. Headlines and descriptions can incorporate the appropriate city, neighborhood, offer or other configured local information while the national Search team maintains the broader campaign architecture.
This allows the customer’s search query, advertising message, geographic targeting and destination to align around the franchise business serving that market.
For larger franchise systems, this can turn one centrally developed Search strategy into hundreds of locally configured campaign executions while preserving a common national structure.
Localize Google Performance Max Before Google AI Optimizes Delivery
Google Performance Max introduces a different localization challenge because Google AI dynamically determines how campaign assets are assembled and delivered across eligible Google inventory. Franify adds a franchise-specific localization layer before that optimization occurs.
Head office can create a common Performance Max campaign framework containing elements such as headlines, descriptions, creative assets and Dynamic Text fields. Franify can then populate the appropriate location-specific information for each participating franchise market before those localized campaign inputs are provided to Google.
This creates two complementary layers of automation:
Franify localization: Franify determines the appropriate campaign inputs for the individual franchise market, including available location information, messaging and other dynamic elements.
Google Performance Max optimization: Google AI determines how those localized assets are assembled, combined and delivered according to the customer, channel and campaign objective.
This distinction is important. Franify helps ensure that the underlying advertising assets are appropriate for the franchise location, while Google continues to perform the automated media optimization associated with Performance Max.
The result allows franchise organizations to use Performance Max at scale while maintaining a stronger connection between centralized campaign strategy and local market relevance.
Continue Localization Into the Landing Page and Lead Experience
Advertising localization can continue after the customer clicks the ad. Franify can use Dynamic Landing Pages that incorporate information associated with the appropriate franchise location and advertising campaign. These landing experiences can include local contact information, market-specific messaging, local offers, forms and tracked phone numbers.
For example, a customer who clicks an advertisement for a Riverdale franchise location can arrive on a landing page containing the Riverdale location name, phone number, address and relevant offer. Another customer interacting with the same national campaign in Springfield can receive the Springfield version of that experience.
This creates a continuous customer journey:
Localized ad → Local landing experience → Form or phone call → Correct franchise location → Lead and campaign reporting
Re-Aggregate Localized Advertising Back to the National Strategy
Programmatic localization creates an important reporting challenge. One centrally created keyword, advertisement or Performance Max asset can become hundreds of localized executions across a franchise network. Native advertising platforms may report those local executions separately, which makes it difficult for head office to understand how the original national advertising concept is performing overall.
Franify retains the relationship between the original advertising element and its localized executions so performance can be re-aggregated back to the underlying national strategy.
This gives franchise marketers two valuable levels of measurement:
Local performance: How did the advertising perform in a specific franchise market?
Network performance: How did the underlying keyword, ad or asset perform across all participating franchise locations?
Re-Aggregate Localized Google Search Keywords
A national Google Search campaign may contain a keyword structure such as:
best coffee in [city]
Once localized across the network, that single structure may produce hundreds of actual keywords, such as:
best coffee in Riverdale
best coffee in Springfield
best coffee in Elmwood
best coffee in Lakeside
Each localized keyword continues to generate its own impressions, clicks, spend and conversions in its individual local campaign.
Franify can re-aggregate those results back to the underlying best coffee in [city] keyword structure. Head office can therefore evaluate the combined network performance of the original search strategy rather than manually combining hundreds of local keyword variants
Re-Aggregate Meta Ad Performance Across Locations
The same principle applies to Meta advertising. A centrally created Meta advertisement may run across hundreds of individual franchise markets. Those executions can use different local identities, dynamic information or market-specific campaign configurations while still originating from the same underlying advertising creative.
Franify can aggregate performance back to the source advertisement so head office can understand how that creative performs across the franchise network.
For example, if one lead-generation ad runs across 250 franchise locations, Franify can show the combined performance of that specific piece of creative across the network while still allowing marketers to drill into more detailed campaign-specific and location-specific results.
Franify’s reporting workflow explicitly supports network-level aggregation of Meta ad performance, including the ability to see combined performance for an ad running across hundreds of locations and then inspect the underlying creative.
Re-Aggregate Performance Max Assets
Performance Max creates a similar requirement at the asset level. A common asset can be localized for participating franchise markets before being supplied to Google. Franify can retain the relationship between those localized versions and the original asset so performance can be evaluated at a broader network level.
This allows head office to understand how common Performance Max creative and messaging concepts are performing across the franchise system while individual campaigns continue to operate with location-specific inputs.
Why Advertising Localization and Re-Aggregation Matter Together
Localization and reporting need to work together for franchise advertising to scale effectively.
Without localization, nationally created advertising can lose relevance as it reaches individual markets. Without network-level re-aggregation, localization can create hundreds of campaign variations that make national performance difficult to interpret.
Franify connects both sides of that problem.
Head office can create a common advertising strategy, programmatically localize it for individual franchise markets, allow each execution to operate with appropriate local information and then re-aggregate the resulting performance back to the original campaign elements.
This allows franchise organizations to answer both local and national questions:
Is this campaign relevant to each local market?
Which locations are performing best?
Which national creative concepts are working across the network?
Which Search keyword structures are driving results across all franchise markets?
Which Meta ads and Performance Max assets deserve broader use?
That combination gives franchise marketers a more complete way to scale digital advertising while preserving both local relevance and national-level performance intelligence.

Franify Promotions: Manage Multiple Advertising Campaigns as One Marketing Initiative
A Promotion in Franify brings multiple advertising campaigns together so they can be managed as one coordinated marketing initiative.
For example, a franchise owner may want to advertise across Meta, Google Search and Google Performance Max to highlight a particular offer. Instead of managing each platform as a separate marketing initiative, the franchisee can create one “Fall Promotion” in Franify and add the campaigns they want to use.
As an example, that Promotion could include:
- Meta Lead Generation campaign
- Meta Awareness campaign
- Google Search campaign
- Google Performance Max campaign
Each campaign still runs independently on its respective advertising platform. Franify connects them at the Promotion level, allowing the franchisee to manage the overall schedule, budget and performance of the initiative in one place.
This means the franchise owner can focus on the business objective they are trying to accomplish, such as promoting a seasonal offer, generating leads for a particular service or supporting a local event, while Franify manages the underlying advertising structure.
Why Franify Created Promotions
Running a cross-platform digital advertising initiative can become complicated quickly. A franchisee advertising on Meta, Google Search and Performance Max may otherwise need to think about each campaign separately, including how much to spend, when each campaign should run and how the different campaigns performed.
Franify Promotions provide a simpler structure. The franchise owner starts with the marketing initiative and then chooses the advertising campaigns and platforms that will support it.
A Promotion can include any combination of platforms and campaigns, including multiple campaigns for one platform. So as an example, a single Promotion could include:
- Two Meta campaigns
- One Google Search campaign
- One Google Performance Max campaign
This allows franchise owners to easily create sophisticated, multi-platform digital advertising without requiring them to organize their marketing around the technical structure of each advertising platform.
Manage the Schedule and Budget for the Entire Promotion
Once the campaigns have been selected, Franify makes it easy to coordinate how the Promotion runs.
A franchisee can establish a schedule for the overall Promotion. A Fall Promotion, for example, could begin September 1 and end October 31, allowing the related advertising to operate within the same promotional period. This means all campaigns and platforms in the Promotion would start on September 1 and stop on October 31, eliminating the need to schedule each campaign individually. Ongoing Promotions can also run without a fixed end date where appropriate.
Budgeting can be managed in two ways. Franchisees can set individual budgets for each campaign when they want direct control over spending, or establish an overall Promotion budget and use Franify’s AI-assisted budget allocation to distribute that investment across the participating campaigns.
For example, a franchisee could establish a $3,000 budget for a Fall Promotion containing Meta, Google Search and Performance Max campaigns. Franify’s budget allocation technology can help determine how that investment should be distributed across the campaigns rather than requiring the franchisee to determine a fixed budget for every platform individually.
This gives franchisees the choice between hands-on campaign budgeting and a more automated cross-campaign approach.
Measure the Promotion as a Whole or Drill Into Individual Campaigns
Franify carries the Promotion structure into advertising reporting.
A franchisee can start with the business question they are most likely to care about:
How did my Fall Promotion perform?
Franify can provide a consolidated view of the Promotion’s results across its participating campaigns. The franchisee can then drill deeper to understand how individual Meta, Google Search or Performance Max campaigns contributed to the overall performance.
This creates a natural reporting hierarchy:
Promotion → Campaign → Ad, keyword or asset
By connecting multi-platform campaign selection, scheduling, budgeting and reporting around a common marketing initiative, Franify Promotions make sophisticated local digital advertising easier for franchisees to manage.

Franchise Advertising Budgets and Funding
Franify supports a variety of budgeting approaches to reflect how different franchise organizations fund and manage digital advertising.
Head office can fully fund localized advertising across the network, franchisees can fund their own local campaigns, and national and local advertising dollars can be combined through Franify’s Incentive Program.
Franify also provides flexibility in how advertising budgets are managed. Budgets can be established for individual campaigns or across an entire Promotion, with the option to use Franify’s AI-assisted budget allocation to automatically distribute and optimize spending across multiple campaigns and advertising platforms.
This gives franchise organizations flexibility across two important decisions: who funds the advertising and how that investment is allocated.
Head Office Can Fully Fund Localized Franchise Advertising
Head office can create and run advertising across the franchise network without requiring any local franchisee contribution. The national team can create Meta, Google Search or Google Performance Max campaigns, select the participating franchise locations and fund the advertising centrally. Franify can then support the localized execution of that campaign across the selected markets. This allows a franchisor to run nationally funded, locally executed advertising.
The franchisee does not need to contribute advertising funds or take any action for the campaign to run. Head office can control the strategy, creative, targeting, localization, timing, budget and measurement while each market still receives an appropriate local campaign execution.
This model can be useful for national brand campaigns, product or service launches, new-location support, system-wide lead-generation initiatives and advertising funded through a national marketing or advertising fund.
The advertising can still remain fully localized. Individual markets can receive the appropriate geography, location information, dynamic messaging, landing experience and other configured local elements while the advertising investment is funded and managed centrally.
Simplify Franchisee Funding and Campaign Flighting
Franify is designed to simplify the account setup and billing complexity that can make local digital advertising difficult for franchisees.
A franchise owner does not need to create and configure a separate Google Ads account, Meta advertising account or advertising manager account simply to participate in supported local campaigns. Instead, the franchisee can work directly within Franify.
The local workflow can be as simple as:
Choose the campaign or Promotion → Select the participating location(s) → Set the schedule → Set the budget → Add a credit card → Activate
The franchisee’s payment information is captured securely within Franify, allowing advertising to be funded through the same environment used to select, schedule and manage campaigns. Payment processing is handled securely through Stripe and is PCI compliant, while Franify provides additional account protections including two-factor authentication and enterprise-grade security controls.
This creates a much simpler local advertising experience. Franchisees do not need to navigate separate advertising-platform billing interfaces, configure payment profiles or manage multiple advertising accounts before they can launch a campaign.
The same workflow can support Managed Campaigns, Start From Template campaigns and Create Your Own campaigns when those capabilities are enabled.
For multi-unit franchisees, the process can also extend across several locations from the same account, allowing the operator to choose which locations participate and manage the associated advertising investment within one workflow.
Why This Matters for Franchise Organizations
Reducing account and billing complexity can make local advertising participation significantly easier to scale across a franchise network.
Head office can make approved campaigns available through Franify, while the franchisee focuses on the business decisions that matter most:
- What do I want to promote?
- Which locations should participate?
- When should the advertising run?
- How much do I want to spend?
Choose How a Promotion Budget Is Managed
When a Promotion contains multiple campaigns and/or platforms, the franchise owner can choose how the advertising budget is allocated.
One option is manual budgeting.
A user can assign a specific amount to each campaign. For example, a $100 daily Promotion budget could be allocated as:
- Meta: $35/day
- Google Search: $40/day
- Performance Max: $25/day
This approach gives the user direct control over how much is invested in each campaign.
The second option is AI-assisted budget allocation.
Instead of deciding how much should go to every campaign and platform, the user can enter one overall budget number for the Promotion and allow Franify to determine how that investment should be distributed.
Use One Budget Across Multiple Campaigns and Platforms
Franify’s AI-assisted budgeting is designed to simplify one of the more technical parts of multi-platform digital advertising.
For example, a franchisee might create a Promotion containing Meta, Google Search and Google Performance Max campaigns and decide that they want to spend $100 per day.
The franchisee does not need to decide in advance exactly how much of that $100 should be assigned to each campaign.
Franify can determine the initial allocation according to the objective of the advertising.
That objective is important because the appropriate allocation can vary depending on what the Promotion is trying to achieve. A campaign focused on lead generation may require a different allocation than one focused on clicks, traffic, reach or impressions.
Franify can therefore use the selected objective as part of the decision about how the overall Promotion budget should be distributed across the participating campaigns.
Franify Re-Evaluates AI Budget Allocation Every Day
The AI allocation continues after the Promotion launches. Each day, Franify retrieves performance information from the participating campaigns and evaluates those results relative to the objectives of the campaigns within the Promotion.
If the objective is lead generation, for example, the system can evaluate how the participating Meta, Google Search and Performance Max campaigns are contributing to lead performance.
If the objective is clicks, reach or impressions, the allocation can be evaluated against those outcomes instead.
Franify will then make adjustments to how the budget is distributed across the participating campaigns based on how those campaigns are performing. The overall Promotion budget remains $100 per day, while Franify adjusts how that amount is distributed across the selected campaigns to maximize performance.
The system is designed to avoid large, abrupt changes in advertising spend. Making extreme daily shifts can disrupt campaign learning and introduce unnecessary volatility, particularly when a campaign is still collecting data.
Franify therefore makes smaller adjustments over time, allowing the allocation to evolve as more performance information becomes available.
